It’s understandable that the toys in your dog’s toy basket or bucket would lose their allure after a while. But do you throw them out and buy new toys?
It’s certainly a nice idea to purchase new fun things for your pet every so often. But another way to keep her entertained is to clean and put some of her toys out of sight and then reintroduce them at a later time. You don’t want to hide her cherished plush toy that she treats as gently as if it were her own puppy. But if you take something away that she has grown bored with and then put it back a month or two later, it may very well delight her all over again. You can even hide the toy in a new place so that your dog has the added excitement of rediscovering it.
